Hello, my name is Yvonne Sarazin. I live in Mariposa, California.
All of my life I’ve liked working with my hands and have found that I particularly enjoy working with wire. My pendants begin with a drawing. For me it’s like thinking of each pendant as a piece of art and making the wire its frame. I enjoy the challenge of working with many different types of materials such as natural crystals, fossils, cabochons and cameos as the centerpieces for my pendants. I specialize in custom work and can create a “one of a kind” pendant just for you.
My “Vintage Keepsake Pendants” are made from old family china and porcelain plates or teacups. Antique “Carnival Glass” can also be used to make an heirloom treasure just for you. A pattern is cut from each piece, it’s wire wrapped and turned into a wearable art keepsake. When people see my work I would like for them to feel a connection to the piece. It’s a wonderful feeling to create something that will be treasured for years to come. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it. |
